I agree with so many of your gripes. My feed keeps showing stuff I’m not interested in, while missing stories that I want to read (and only find out about because the authors share links to them on Twitter or Scribophile).

Having responses lumped in with stories makes me reluctant to write responses. I want to have a dialog with authors that goes beyond pressing the clap button, but I also don’t want my “Stories” and “Stats” pages clogged up with comments I’ve made, when what I want to see there is how my own work is improving.

As a final complaint, I’d like Medium to take my membership fee directly out of my earnings. Receiving a USD payment from Medium into my GBP bank account and then paying $5.00 back to Medium involves a double currency conversion, which is inefficient.
